Daniel Sims is a blogger and freelance writer living in the United States, mainly specializing in writing about video games and tech. Right now he mostly does feature articles but would love to also review games and write news. He’s always looking for paid work, so if you’re looking for freelancers check the writing samples and resume in the “My Work” section.

Daniel started this blog on 1up.com in 2004 (under the name “RedSwirl”) and decided to continue it here when 1up closed. It’s pretty much just thoughts on games, the video game industry, and occasionally other subjects. This blog is updated at least weekly.

This particular post from March 2015 is a good explanation of the motivations behind this site and a small peak into freelance video game writing overall.
